Well, just because all the other characters are scientists or robots or freaking Mimigas, which narrows it down, and Kazuma is just the right age. But hey, it's just my opinion, you can think what you want.
She still might be a casual furry fan, i.e. not really into that dressing-up business. Mimigas being anthros depend on how you percieve them, how you define the word "animal", whether youm mean in-universe... um, let's just not go there.

There's a difference between slang words and clearly defined terms, though. And this is not as much about what the definition of the word is as rather about how do people think an average furry looks and acts.
Um... just how does "furry" have anything to do with sex? Being a furry means being a member of the furry fandom, i.e. liking the furry art, which centers itself around depicting anthropomorphized animals. And no, I'm not a furry, I just made some research in the past.
Well, Sue was born as a human and lived for, say, 13 years as a human, so, technically, she's still a human, albeit a very mimigaesque one. Or, if you want to, replace "technically" with "mentally".
