Trope is, um, standartized plot device. For instance, Mute Protagonist (for example Quote) is a trope, because we see that in every other game. What is? In any case, "Objection!" is 100x cooler.

First, it's a trope, not a meme, and second, how would that be a contradiction, anyway?

Well, I always figured that Ballos only wanted to, erm, motivate Quote into killing him. He's mad, anyway.

To serve as an obstacle, of course. But seriously, why would any liquid drip from a cave's ceiling? Only water would make sense, but water 1) is not red, and 2) does not harm robots (only in large quantities).

The Cthulhus are a clan of human wise-asses in green suits, that like to confuse passers-by into thinking that there is only one Cthulhu.

Name one red liquid that harms robots like acid. Oh wait...

Yeah... You already said that... I guess "specilation" is more accurate, but whatever. Well, more like "punched a few holes in it". The problem is that you all ask the same questions over and over. But I don't think that reading through this whole thread and assembling a better version of this...

6/10 First Cave's monsters

Anything that the main character would say would be either characterization or something the player already knows. In games where the nature of all the characters is only secondary, it's just better to have the main character not talk. Plus it lowers the amout of text in the game.

There is only one Cthulthu (<--correct spelling, by the way), who uses holographic projections of himself to do his job as the Island Guide. The only times Quote met him in person were in Cthulthu's Abode and then, after the Abode was destroyed, in the Plantation.

Well, that mod contradits CS itself (at least it did when I played it last time), in that she kills the Korons' parent before adopting them in the mod. Cuz teh killah robotz cant get thar without getting of Uh... yeah, that. Well that doesn't mean he couldn't have gotten injured. Yea-what...

But it makes sense, which is why we're here in the first place.
