Okay here is the best way to do it: 1. Make a copy of your cave story files. 2. Extract the files for the mod into an empty folder. 3. Copy these files and paste them into the copied cave story folder and overwrite the old files with the new ones. 4. Play the mod.

Mimiga fangs? How about a fully charged spur. :D

What about if there was two main characters with different abilities and you can switch between them in certain places like how you could only do special actions in Minish Cap and Oracle of Ages/Seasons only on the log.

Balrog is a great character but isn't main character material, sorry. EDIT: Sorry, got confused with another thread. Balrog would be second place for me. :confused:

I told you, I got lasy and never bothered to put Sacred Grounds (Hell) in. Well it's hard mode with the normal ending if that makes sense, it will be as if you took all the steps to get into sacred grounds (hell) but jumped off the edge of the island anyway instead of entering sacred grounds...

I meant the individual tiles in the tilesets when I said sprites. A good start would be to use some of the unused monster sprites: http://www.miraigamer.net/cavestory/monsters.php and then analyse all of pixels monsters and try to have new enemies feel like they belong with the others visually...

Jack would be nice as a main character. Oooh, and maybe have raffi as a guest appearence. :( But I would still choose King over all of them. Though there would be a choice to make, King is a better character, but Spirit King is a better fighter. 1: a. Yay for KAH! 2: Haven't starting getting...

It is active all of the time but has a limit to the firing rate. Balissile? 8/10 Its normal Missiles, not very powerful, but bonus points for unlimited ammo. Chaotic Energy (Basil)
