Running out of ideas... Well, what other solutions did they have... Did you try running it in the various windowed modes? Or did you make sure the Power Save {I doubt this is the problem} thing isn't on?

Low-mo Normal? Lowest? What was it set to originally? And can you even turn it off completely? {Because that's what's recommended}

I should probably should go look up XP stuff It might be different for you. How far down this route did you get?

Next Did you try turning off Hardware Acceleration? {It's mentioned in that other thread} I've got a feeling that would help, at least a bit.

And what's wrong with that? Huh? What's wrong with saving it in 24-bit? I've saved half my files so far in that format and they work fine.
