Yeah... That usually happens when the event it reaches doesn't have an <END, usually because it's not in the script, so it runs that text thing and moves on to the next event, repeating it until it finds an <END to stop at, which apparently leads it to your cut-scene event. I'd double check it...

I don't think so. Unless you've got like a gaming keyboard with turbo keys on it or something like that, I don't think so. But even then, you might have to mess with Cave Story so the keys aren't the standard Q/W, A/S, and Z/X. I think a gaming control with turbo would be easier :( EDIT: Oh...

Hmmm I tried editing a clean {Japanese, because I'm too lazy to download the complete deluxe set or apply a patch} version with CE and then compared it hex-wise with Translhextion on another, clean one, but didn't find any differences at all... It said the data matched exactly.
