Sorry if I sound like a fanboy here but FMA isn't draggy at all. It's fricken epic with a perfect mix of tragedy and humour. 51 episodes might seem long but there are little to no fillers thrown in except for one episode dedicated to comic relief, and that was right before the series turned on...
