On Monster X I just played it safe and used the level 3 Bubbler for the first half then the Blade on the second half.

Pretty much how my Hard Mode Playthrough went.

Probably never, if they even put him in the game at all. Maybe you have to do a Hell Time Attack or beat the game on Hard Mode, but I'm not too sure.

Nothing less. Maybe it's the lack of content, paying 40$ for it, or it could be because the game is looking generic with the new style. I just think the game is milked clean and this re-make is kinda bland for my tastes. Personally, the old look is what made it look so inviting and unique.

I'm thinking of trading in my copy for Super Mario 3D Land. It's just Cave Story all over again with a facelift to put it bluntly. It's kinda disappointing for me.

I felt they made the Normal Ending even more insulting and grimdark because you actually saw the island fall and proceed to impact the earth, resulting in a huge explosion. Least in the old version you just saw it fall and make an ambiguous ending. Here they shove it in your face as if they are...

Obviously the soul of Arthur turned itself into a Mask so that anyone who wore it would bear the likeness of him. Momorin just happened to find that mask while trying to make her hideout in the Plantation.

Yeah, putting up with bugs, constant crashes, and the rest. I agree with you on saying it is payment for what you guys have done.

Dude, it took me 2 hours to beat Monster X on Hard mode, and even longer to beat the Core! If you can make it that far in 2-3 hours, then a corrupted save file is just a small detour! You can do this.

You're lucky Beta-Testing it, go steamroll the game like a man.

Yeah, I thought so. Ah well, tell me how it goes. Guess I gotta buy the game when it comes out. (again) While you're doing that, I'll go cry in a corner knowing I just missed my chance at helping test my favorite game.

I would like to join. Especially after beating the game on Hard Mode recently..... god I was stuck on Monster X for like a week trying to figure out a good strategy. The core too. Well hopefully I can join for this, thanks in advance if I do. Crap now I gotta check my PC specs first... My Specs...

Gotta say Ollie, you have done superb work in this mod. After beating the demos both ways, I gotta say it's very enjoyable and fun. I haven't found all the secrets, but I will. Also, I liked the humour you put into this. Can't wait for the Final release, keep up the good work.
