I don't know if you're talking about the sailing in Phantom Hourglass or Wind Waker But I personally enjoyed the sailing in Wind Waker, it was fun going in random directions, exploring, and feeding fish. If you're talking about Phantom Hourglass, then I agree, it's boring and just not fun.
