To answer the first, i just level it on the way, i use the first drop to level it once and then the spur to take out enemys and then collect the exp with the launcher at the spots you have to wait for the door to explode To answer the 2nd one, in my opinion just charged spur shots do the job...

8 players thats massive the max one ive seen was 5 players

its hard to kill the fat butes with it

:p yeah you shouldnt of used the polar star even though it levels up quick, the nemesis is good straight away(unless you get exp :p ) but its there for a alternative for people i think.
