I just recently started using Pxtone, and although I've made some okay voices with Ptvoice, I have no idea how to use Ptnoise and I am tragically lacking drum sounds. Could somebody upload some their own drum sounds for me to use, or at least teach me how to use Ptnoise?

I figured it out! I just copied the data and sounds folder, and the config file, and everything else from the original cave story folder to the one with my new program. As for your insult, my problem-solving skills are perfectly fine, but it's always good to get help from the people who know...

I know where I'm saving it to. When I go into Resource Hacker and click "open" and browse for it, it's there. It just doesn't appear when I'm browsing folders regularly. Also, I will try adding .exe EDIT: It worked! I found the file and it saved as an .exe!But when I open it I get an error...

@cultr1 I don't think that's it. If it is, what are the limits? @Noxid When I do that I can't find it and/or can't open it. Sometime it doesn't show up in the folder I save it in, and when it does it asks me what program I want to use to open it. So it definitely isn't saved as a normal .exe...

Still won't work...

Help! Whenever I try to replace the Orgs in Cave Story with my own, when I save it says "Cannot rename original file. Saving cancelled." I followed all the directions in the first post in this thread, but it won't work.

Good job! For a first song, that's pretty good. Try to experiment with more different instruments, and make sure that all your harmonies make sense, especially if they're on similar instruments. The percussion and bassline were good. Edit: I just discovered something awesome! It's WAY quicker...

It was only an experiment, but I plan to use some of those sounds in actual songs in the future. I especially like the per02 sound that sounds like a xylophone.
