First time I played Hell successfully I did it cautious as heck. Took me 15 minutes. So 6 or so is pretty darned good for a first try.

The door that appears when you open the chests is (obviously) a trap. However, opening the right chests -does- lead to a way out... if you're observant and don't fall for the obvious.

That'd prolly require more advanced haxxing... at least if you want to have reasonable values for money, otherwise you'd have to make them items and it'd be a bit stupid to only be able to carry around 5 or 10 pieces of money at a time.
