Eh, that Curly fight wasn't too bad. The red projectiles don't actually damage you. Got it on my third try, though I shoulda gotten it on my first.

Nah, you could prolly pull it off somewhere inbetween, ignoring the life capsules that require you to go too far out of your way. Lessee... If you grab the life capsule in the first cave, but ignore both in the egg corridor and the Yamashita farm... EC on 6HP shouldn't be hard... grab the one...

.pbm files are renamed .bmp files. Any image editting program will do once you rename each .pbm as a .bmp. The cages and stuff should be in the NPC folder.

Haven't played the demo yet so I dunno what extra obstacles you've thrown in but a just plain Curly fight is easy to do without losing any HP...

Like I said, the snake experience one is definitely wrong. It's 30 for level 1 to 2, 40 for level 2 to 3, and I think it's 10 or 20 to Max.

... it takes 40 XP to level up the snake from 2 to 3. I know this for a fact. There are 4 energy capsules on the fall through B1, the first 32 XP earlier on are enough to get to level 2, and it takes all four +10 capsules to make to to level 3. Got a 30/36, some were silly errors 'cuz I wasn't...

Mmhrm, I liked the old MGS demo... it was unique and original... Pretty quick play. Some bugs like doors opening, and the maps looking odd (especially the prefab room). Adding the counter might improve replayability.

Dude, I can do this, but man your tileset. It looks nice, but there has to be an immediate distinction of "this is solid" and "this is background," like, instinctive. I died once because I was like "wait that's a WALL? OSHI--" and countless other times hardwired reflexes would have helped me...

The drowning event is in the universal "head" script, that loads for every map; just like saving, health refill, dying, and falling off the map events.
