Maybe your version of Sue's Workshop reads only .bmp files and all your tileset and spritesheet data are all in the .pbm format, or vice versa. (Btw only version 0.C [not too sure about this, but I know the version contains a 'C'] can read .bmp files. I don't recommend replacing the '.pbm' hex...

That's because there wasn't a flag that was set such that the Heart sprites would "Become invisible if flag is set", which means that it would respawn everytime you leave and enter the map, or, in other words, reload the map.
