It is. When you use higher numbers, it ADDS health instead, but that may only be for the guns.

If you have an HD TV,a HDMI cord, and a laptop, you can hook it up to the TV. This might be something with my TV, but it also puts a better size for full-screen than on a computer. You could also use a game-pad, which would make it feel even more console like.
