I dunno. Probably, because of how many good reviews the game has and the sales of the game (Also, the gameplay is well suited for the 3DS.), but you never know...

Wow, that was an awesome Smash Bros Invitational. Kinda wished that Mega Man would win, but I am equally satisfied by being able to see his Final Smash. Now, that was awesome!!!

Yeah, I would go with Cave Story. One reason is that Kero Blaster is a Level-oriented game and I love non-linear games better. Also, because Cave Story has a better plot. Although, Cave Story could have been even better with Kero Blaster's Upgrade Weapon System. (In my opinion)

Wow, I never thought of it that way. I've always assumed that the core kept it floating, but I guess I was wasn't thinking about it very well. I knew Jenka was most likely behind the creation of the Island, though.
