No. It's not true. I didn't send him a demo of the mod. What I did send to him was a early January 2010 copy. There's a few differences, you see:

That was a completely different Balrog that you had to fight. He is nothing compared to the June 2009 - May 2010 versions of the "Mysterious Balrog" that we have now.

That's the best way to visualize a mod. Focusing too much on assembly kind of fucks up the mod, if you know what I mean. It's kind of becoming a gimmick to CS mods now. It wouldn't be surprising if Broxxus ever had some assembly hacks done, but I can tell you right now there won't be many.
