What's a Kirlia doing on a metropolitan rooftop? Well, they're clearly somewhat anxious about it, as many who live their lives and somehow end up on rooftops are wont to feel. I'm not feeling creative tonight, use your imagination - I'll just say that I like urban environments for these, and I'm...
The adventures of Darkrai and shiny Mega Gardevoir continue! Unlike the last upload of these two, the artist decided to parallel the blue of Gardevoir's hair with Darkrai's eye rather than paling it to fit with Darkrai's hair, which is a little more faithful, though it's strange that Gardevoir's...
Gardevoir OCs/team members tend to fall into a few archetypes, which is probably common for any given Pokémon. You can probably guess what Serenity here is like, taking in forsaken the way she does, but there's ultimately nothing wrong with falling into an archetype - particularly if the wider...
I find it interesting that the rainbow colors blend and bleed everywhere, seems like an overlay of paint over the traditional Gardevoir colors and such. The design is distinctively done without such things, though, a bit more angular than most at the hair and arms. :o
The colors, lines and background are soft and full of sweet elements, but there's still something muted about the whole picture. The colors, of course, are deceptively light at points, but that tired, taciturn expression is what really makes the mood for me.
Splendidly simple and radiating an elegant, friendly disposition. AruyaSei seems like quite a crack shot at portraying plenty of personality with little fuss. :>
Sketchy little details, layered gradients with no separately colored outlines, a single-color scheme...the tattered moth wings are an especially cool touch. I'm a sucker for this kind of aesthetic. :>
This lovely, poofy dress is apparently modeled after something from Gaia Online, which is itself apparently something. I can't say for certain how it allows its wearer to create massive fissures in the ground, either, but there's a lot about the world I don't know and fictional magic dresses...
Knowing what they know of the plague's transmission, the Aromatisse and Spritzee within quarantine borders were the first to begin treatment efforts and the last to start succumbing. Hysteria ran rampant in those days, a more reasonable cause for the reaction than usual as leaders and academics...
There's all sorts of potential for headcanon around how aging, evolution (or the negation thereof) and non-sport orientation works for Pokémon. This picture seemed a little odd at first since the Kirlia has a bit of a stilts look going on, but upon further thought it's entirely possible that...
Gardevoir probably make for good nannies or governesses. Classically cheery, bright little ladies probably make for good adventurers! (I'm getting The Secret Garden vibes and I love it :D )
The point at which the month in which the week through which Halloween would be celebrated would be just around the corner is just around the corner! Have a cute lolita outfit courtesy of Anzhyra again. :>
Seriously, I love the frills and scribbly detail on that dress. I know there's probably a...
FAKE TYPE. is great, go listen to them! Or at least only the named song since it's softer and nicer than most of the others.
Anyway. Cutes and flowers. :>
Today I watched Fight Club for the first time and earned a full bottle of root beer for sticking around to help clean up. Yesterday I messed up my hands, legs and head doing volunteer farm work! (It’s better now.) And on Friday, I signed up for Smash and fencing with intentions to get into...
From a distance (read: the thumbnails), this may look like an odd tailed Gardevoir, but it's pretty clear up close what's happening here. And I find it rather charming, fantasy creatures like these in mundane positions and situations never fails to tickle my fancy. :>
I understand that I react to things in very specific, odd ways, which does nothing to hamper the feeling I got of the subject here being lovingly swathed by the universe itself. ~w~
Even a little bit of life breathed into the world can be a big deal for others!
I adore this artist's style, by the way. Something about the combo of soft strokes and sharp pixelly lines is really visually interesting :3
