Mawile had their fans from the start, of course (myself included! Base Mawile are still super cute), but the mega they received really took their power up several notches more than most, and it's got one of the prettiest designs as well. Gardevoir was a decent sweeper from the start, meanwhile...
Forests aren't this peaceful when I have the chance to visit them. I wonder if heading to one in autumn would make the difference, but it's rarely a good idea to rest this way unless you're familiar with the area and sufficiently prepared. Of course, very little is out of reach for a skilled...
Taking a few artistic opposites from the next pic is this lovely, lineless, charmingly simple portrait that I've probably had in storage for a few thousand years. The flowing, sequential segments of the skirt are particularly pleasing to the eye :>
Bold colors, semi-sassy pose, and that wild vorticist(?) lineart I like so much combine to make a solid piece of art. I'm not sure why I waited so long to upload this one, but it's technically my 600th including the Special Album (and excluding all of the deleted ones). Certainly not a bad...
Oh hey, accidental bookends with Unwind - it's not really a forest this time, but it's that same feeling in the day. I wish I was this cool, not only reading in obsessive marathons again but reading for /education/ rather than yet more entertainment. The very idea frightens my pleasure-addled...
It's a new year and a few months of schedule slippage, yay! We'll get to 600 yet, even if it's at a crawl.
I definitely like the way that the even black inking looks, bordering watercolor gradients like that. The overall design is nice and straightforward, but the fancy details help it pop. :3
No, I attend in sorta-rural Illinois. We just have a weird three-term year, so the first one was shorter and they didn’t want to split up the second. Vacation times are all over the place, but I’m pretty happy with this scheduling overall. :>
Oh, I’m glad I happened to check the forums when I did! As I told another friend who messaged out of the blue, that was definitely my most absent year yet, and I can’t even blame that on college. I wasn’t mega popular in high school, things stayed comfortably obscure, plus I spent the whole last...
Hopefully you two move or travel someday. Snow can be a hassle, especially for those who drive every day, but I find it beautiful. There’s a definite magic in the first snow, and winter's more pleasant with a pretty pallete.
It's a good thing that most of you see me on Discord. I've tried to be a busy bee over there, and a small amount of my efforts have borne fruit. Enough for me to be content while my problems are my own. :>
I was thinking just this morning about how nice it would be to see the first snow. I’d lain in bed for a good length of time recording my dream, and only spotted the fleck of white shooting past my window in the middle of listening to Tyler the Creator's “See You Again”. Leapt out of bed and...
(Well, Gardevoir's really a Knight, and even then only in theme and purpose. Still, Mages and Knights doesn't have as much of a ring, does it?)
The texture of this pic is really pretty. I'm no expert on Delphox, but they both look great anyway!
I may be a few days late due to a college paper kicking my butt, but surely you can feel /THE SPOOK/ no matter what point in time you're in. This is quite an interesting design, apparently inspired by the weirder descriptions of angels with wings covered in eyes or shaped in burning rings or...
It's still a pleasant surprise to me that people have managed to make the Mega Gardevoir design as cute as in this pic. It was a pretty kneejerk reaction to dislike it as much as I did when it was revealed - the official Gardevoir portrayal lacks some of the spunk of good fan content, too. c:
Appreciated. I’m one of those people who only talks due to nervousness when silence starts to fill a room, but I think intermittent medium-quality blather is a better environment overall than constant noise.
As always, I love custom clothing and brawnier takes on Gardevoir, but this is interesting because I also just like the fashion here in general. Fingerless gloves, a light turtleneck thing...whatever those things on the legs count as, all in black and supporting lighter colors over them, is all...
The weird handkerchief headband is an old Japanese burial rite, which apparently went out of practice quite a while ago but is nonetheless associated with ghosts. The more you know!
With the text typed out like this, I was actually able to use Google Translate for once! Near as I can tell, it's something to the effect of either "I couldn't stand waiting for March 7th" or "I rushed as soon as I heard it's Gardevoir Day". I approve of the sentiment regardless. :3
Psychic powers: the reason to all of your physical impossibilities! Many scenes depict Gardevoir under the moon, but none have had any water-walking yet. :o
