I estimate that there are about 170 comments bearing well wishes (you are a well-liked person, after all!), and I could easily use any of those, but in the interest of spurring the dramatic heat death of cavestory.org onwards, I'll make another. Happy 20th, enjoy non-nerddom, and I hope this...
Excuse me if I seemingly disappear from the Earth in the next few days. I have been overrun by the Unofficial Squaresoft MUD and will shun all human contact at most possibilies to nurse this addiction. It will slow down eventually, it always does. ^_^
It's cliche for a reason! That works more often than you'd expect. Simply refusing to interact has helped a lot in the few times when intrusive folk have come around to me.
Welcome to the forums, Dish. I hope you like it here, its small-town quiet aside. The majority of mods are unfinished, and many among that majority are still excellent, so continue with those aspirations and you might be surprised at what comes of it. ^_^
Hey, hey! This was uploaded on Gardevoir Day! :3
It was also made FOR Gardevoir Day, by the good people of Pixiv. I don't know who originally decided that March 7th would be held in dedication of some random Pokémon, but I'm not complaining! It means more good artwork to hoard and share. -w-...
I don't know what has this Gardevoir so ruffled. I do know that only fantasy characters can look cute when pained or uncomfortable, though, at least in my experience.
(That is merely one of many things that fantasy characters are better at. ^_^; )
Sometimes I forget, in my pursuit of beauty and sweetness, that Gardevoir are really strong thoroughly inhuman psychic bodyguards who will destroy physics and themselves to save the life they are sworn to. There isn't anything about this picture in particular that made me consider that, with the...
I really like minimalist styles like this one. They're capable of portraying emotion that's distilled and pure and open all at once - in this case, endearing joy. :D
Could you please turn down the sarcasm, Xemous? It's a legitimate query. Redesign is pretty labyrinthine at points, and such an excellent mod that it's definitely worth seeing all the way through.
It's been many years since I finished Redesign, but I or another member may be able to help if you...
...thanks? I have to question why you came to comment if you don't like Gardevoir. The usual approach to holidays that don't apply to you is to pass them by, I believe.
@Hina JCDR is so prolific that I recognize his art style immediately. ^_^
@Goerge Bobicles Yup! Japan arbitrarily decided it, as far as I can tell, and Japan's word is law. Also, I didn't know that Gardevoir is one of your favorites, that's nice. c:
It's always interesting to see what different artists emphasize and downplay, given a single subject to work with. MinhlicE's exaggeratedly large fingers and ears are a pretty common choice that runs surprisingly counter to the official depiction, if you go back and look at that. Variety is the...
Look closely and you'll see that this picture is made up of a series of photo manipulations. The end result is really odd and strangely pretty and a very unique addition to the waves of Gardevoir art that regularly beat upon the shores of this site. -w-
It makes sense that most Gardevoir art depicts it with light skin, because it's a Pokémon that never has dark skin. It's still super cool to see a shake-up, and I adore the theme here just because of how rarely I've seen it in my years gathering art. This is definitely another extremely unique...
ANGPRO has a long history of consistently nice Gardevoir art. This most recent submission is no exception! Makes me wonder if I'll ever approach anything of this quality with my own art, though I'm guessing the answer is no for sheer lack of passion.
