Halo Custom Edition has some of the most insane mods. I played one where the pistol shot tanks. That is one of the most frightening things I've ever experienced in Halo: a tank flying at you across Blood Gulch.

Dude, if you don't reload your sword, you're doing it wrong. Plain old swords are not effective in this day and age.

However, that's not why you can't shoot NPCs. Instead of being carbon-based life forms, like us, NPCs are ninjate-based life forms, making it impossible to shoot them unless they attack you.
