    Modding isn't getting 'harder'. I'd say it can only get easier with more discoveries being made and more hacks and tools being made. CSBD or small challenges mods are a good way to get into modding though, it's always fine to make something by editing before you start making your own maps and stuff.

    Generally not really actually. Unless it's done with the intent to taunt avid ASM users. Challenging yourself to avoid ASM can be a fun puzzle sometimes and there can be some clever looking solutions at times.
