Can i have permission to use the NPC039 hack? Second, i got the assembler set up, i opened my doukutsu.exe, and selected direct assemble with NPC039.txt as a test, and it say's it can't recognize offset "npc039". What offset do i change it to to get it to work?

Why dont you make an NPC sprite set that replaces the basu(the giant fly thing)With the owl? I did that once, except with the unused flying puppy sprites. And to make the frog with the sword, you could replace the gravekeeper with the knife from the graveyard with the frog.

I think that you make a copy of you're beta mod(if you mess up you're only copy you have to restart), open the copy of doukutsu.exe with the hackinstaller, and the titlescreenhack patch, and then select something to patch it, i havent used the hack installer yet.

How do i have 2 types of breakable tile? I want to have the original type (where its just a purple box with stars), and a 2nd type where it shows the tile that is the breakable box instead of the purple, so i could hide stuff in wall's that have marks on them like they're breaking.

Just open the face.bmp/pbm in paint, click on image in the menu bar, and go to attributes, then increase the height in increments of 48 pixels, until theres enough room, and align all your facepics(they have to be 48x48) in to the spaces correctly, and done.

I agree just a tiny bit, but this means that if you make a mod for cave story+ that uses some original tilesets, you have to 2X them YOURSELF. And thats just a pain in the @#$,especially in tilesets like grasstown. (It literally took me 25% to 35% of traveling to florida just to 2x grasstown.)
