The rate of fire control is the shot that is actually fired by the weapon, except it has blank sprites, 0x0 hit box, no speed, and goes through walls, so the rate of fire is not affected by the number of spread shots on screen at all, making you unable to stand next to a boss to spam. All of...

The only problem is that the code is VERY large, and has to be repeated for each direction, and that it will make the polar star have to start at lvl 2 or 3.

Or, if I use the polar star lvl. 2 shot too, I can make the range of the spread increase. I'm thinking: Lvl. 1: 5 shots short range Lvl. 2: 10 shots short range Lvl. 3: 15 shots long range (slow reload, and 0 exp to max?)

Hint: I developed a code for a multiple shot spread weapon (shotgun?) that shoots lvl. 1 polar star shots with a vertical velocity spread, that shoots more each level (lvl 1: 5 lvl 2: 10 lvl 3: 15). Could this be a shotgun? Also, I developed a way to control the rate of fire that is independent...
