I don't think that a touhou mod should be attempted without assembly. It just wouldn't turn out well. Also, if Ryuuoutan were to make this a bad mod, the touhou loving community may arrange an assassination. Just a warning:p.

Assembly. Which sprites it uses are dependent on the frame rects. As for the sprite sheet, I'm not exactly sure how to change which sheet an entity uses, but it's probably possible.

Looks like Marisa is the popular choice, but programming anything that marisa can do would be difficult. Illusion laser? Master Spark? That would be pretty impossible, even with extensive assembly.

I vote Marisa (as Cultr1 would have predicted). Also, as a touhou nerd, I offer any assembly/anything help that I can supply. Sakuya would be fun to use, but her ability to stop time would be a bit tricky to implement. I also think that you should include Suwako (and her awesome hat) and Cirno...
