It sounds like the 'Use Gamepad' option is on, but that only applies if a joystick/controller is installed on the Game Controllers settings in Control Panel. You can try copying a DoConfig from another folder into the Pandimonium one and uncheck the 'Use Gamepad' checkbox in the upper left...

Nice discoveries! I tried them out and found that the flame's one time damage thing when no flags are set doesn't seem to work on my end. It just keeps damaging me... Those flames look oddly familiar, too... I wonder why? The temporary enemy is, in fact, one of the 'Dopplegangers' that dropped...

I agree with Fuzz about the idea as well as the UFO boss music. I also like the hidden boss music in Guxt, and was quite surprised it wasn't in the PXTone Player ZIP with the rest of the Guxt music...

Same here, then I followed it up with viewing the Tribute Site. It wasn't until I had a much better connection speed that I got a chance to finally play and enjoy Cave Story. Of course, getting to the point... I'm sure plenty of people was thinking Metroid when getting that first Life...
