firealpaca, paint.NET and photoshop are neat-O-rific but MSPaint works too tbh I personally like photoshop cause it makes editing palettes easy and the conversion from anything to .bmp smooth.

So uh this has been buggin me for a while but What the fuck is up with misery's (67 I think?) bubble animation? As far as I can tell, if you use it after she's on the ground from animation 0013, she shoots a bubble that goes towards entity 1000 (and only entity 1000, without an entity 1000...

that only works if you're using the white-coloured forum skin. It's actually more readable than the other text on the dark one.
