I figured it out. I switched all of his events from 300 to 500. I don't know why it worked, but it did.

I'm trying to start a boss fight with balrog, but when I use the BSL command, he animates, but when the fight starts, his hp bar doesn't go down when he gets hit. I triple checked to make sure the command is set to the right event number.

Assembly sucks when you first start. The guide is pretty decent, but there probably should be guides on specific parts of assembly, but we don't. Maybe I'll make one when I know more about it. Nevertheless, you should at least try, even if it's complex right now. I felt the same way, and...

What would you use to change the icon for the game? I made an image, but the reshacker said I need a special image format and I don't know what saves into that format.

Yuo. I've been doing it for an hour now and the most special thign I've found is floating islands.

Did you add an event to the entity? If so, then double check to male sure the entity still has the event, Cave editor has issues saving the events you add to entities.

The face pics are 256 bit bmp. That's the max. do I have to change is to pbm and edit for an hour? I HATE bmp format, but Cave Editor doesnMt have the same tools.

I'm finding it difficult to save face pics, as whenever I save the picture, it messes up the colors. Does anyone know a way to avoid this?
