how about this idea for a living tree... instead of moving like the armos, it stays still. it looks like a normal pine tree but when u get close it gets mad and shoots pine needles in all directions. that would be an interesting trap in the forest, eh?

hey josh, um, i have a question. how do you get the tilesets? does gm email them to you, or is there a website with the bmps, or do you extract them yourself with HM? im staying at a friends house for a few days, and i might be able to edit a few graphics, so i need the bmps as soon as possible...

maybe you could make the grass and bushes burn up with the lamp or fire rod, like in minish cap. hacking and slashing individual bushes is so tedious, especially without the boots. there needs to be something to speed up the process.

and maybe, in the areas that it appears, there could be normal trees that look like the monster scattered around, like your statue idea. and maybe through some hacking, there could be some sort of secret in some of the normal trees(i'll email you with some ideas.);)
