The only suggestion I have is to add some more rhythm to 8-16. You could stagger the notes of each chords, like Moonsong, or you could just provide some lower harmony that uses a different rhythm pattern. Oh, and on the same part, maybe adding some accents to the notes. I feel like that would...

I happened to find this game randomly, and lo and behold, there's a thread about it. I thought it was very interesting, but that's just it. It's supposed to be surreal (and dare I say thought-provoking?), but not scary. Scary is Amnesia: The Dark Descent. I have yet to finish that game.

The same thing happens in real life. Why do we still have a sample of small pox in a laboratory somewhere? Ideally, we'd never have to release it, but one can never accurately predict all future events. It's a "just in case" type deal.
