They generate their sounds different ways, so I'd guess not (I'm no sound engineer or know enough to definitively explain the technical side of things) But you can make midi's sound different based on the player you use (For example, Cave Story Wii MIDIs played ingame vs Window's Synth Table)...

Nothing on the tribute site says so. As for playing ORGs, Use OrgMaker 1.34 or 2.05x (Translated version with the drums in the correct spots)

Re: Cave Story 2: Meltdown... Personally, the only reason to keep the 16 color bitmaps is to keep the file size of the mod down. You can save it into a 32 bit bitmap and it will still work in cave story. Although if you do decide to keep the lower number of colors, you can use the 16 colors...

I don't know about the hardware problem, but most of the people on this forum care much more about the pc version than the wiiware version :3

Let me rephrase myself. I'd like to hear the wii's version of white, with or without drums, I don't care. When I opened up the midi folder of the wiiware release, I didn't see a midi of it. I know some songs have been renamed, but I don't recall hearing white in that midi release of cave story...

I'd like to hear white period. The midis that were posted had a disturbing lack of white in the file names, and I don't think if it's there, that I recognize the start of the song. :(

I was messing around with a mod, and found out that the armadillos were vulnerable to missles there, thought it would be a flag. Then when I did some patch up work on that boss rush mod, I noticed if you fight curly in the sand zone hut through the boss attack mode, she's vulnerable, yet playing...
