I found a lazier way, get one press to drop, and run backwards back into your safety net, then kill it. then charge up the spur, and leap into the empty press hole, and unleash a single fully charged spur to kill all the remaining presses. Easy way to stay alive. EDIT: Helped loads when low on...

I like the rapier idea, some fools came after him, and he pulled a King (slashing at balrog in the sand warehouse, 1 hit ownage) and poofed em, (lol) then unfolded the rapier back into a fishing pole, without a care in the world. Maybe his issue is the bait.

from what I have noticed throughout the whole game, Kanpachi really doesn't care about anything (other than the farming, which he doesn't like), he just wants to fish, though at the plantation, he doesn't catch anything but the teleporter key, the poor guy...
