They are from they plantation I think. At the credits it says "born of earth." This could be a double meaning. It could mean born out of dirt or born on earth.

I fixed the sprite, but decided to change it back because it looked better. The demon crown covers his forehead so his eyes are lower than they look. And I am using jpgs and pngs for the sprites.
