Damn, I even thinked to actually EXPAND the lore (in a non-official way) of Cave Story. Making a Jenka/Ballos/Misery arc, a War arc, and a very special Arthur's Arc, involving King.

Just go Mega Man and only shoot left and right. CSxMM already achieved that

I'll say, that's most likely the #1 reason I never played megaman, you can't shoot up and down.

Play Mega Man & Bass as Bass then, you can shoot in all directions, but you stop moving when you do
