Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

there's also an almost-complete rewrite of cave story called Cave Story Engine (essentially NXEngine but not horrible) and its being worked on in its discord channel here: https://discord.gg/WgBSQZc
Actually made an account to download the Cave Story Geobox Engine, until I realized the creator never gave out download links. A forum post from 2017 said that some people have the link? Though I don't know who to ask for it, and I don't want to accidentally break any rules considering I just joined.
So for now, I'm using Quote99's WebGL engine which is pretty similar.
