As one who has worked with both, they're very fragile and defunct soft- wares capable of modding Cave Story, as long as your mod doesn't have any custom sprites you should be fine.
Booster's Lab is easy to learn, and includes almost everything needed to create a mod. It even includes documentation on how the game works. Both Sue's Workshop and Miza are extremely dated and limited in what they can do.
Yes I was 100% serious. Sue's Workshop > All other editors. It has wonderful visuals, a great interface, and is based on the best Cave Story character. Cave Editor and BL have nothing on Sue. Booster's Lab and CE are just fancy and have "good graphix", but Sue's Workshop is more about the functionality than the looks. Stop being a sheep and look at good editors.
