I can relate to your situation in some ways, having done extremely poorly on some assignments and assesments this year so far. To say the least my parents weren't pleased with the results, and I can only hope that your parents aren't too hard on you for that.
It's always nice to have that sense of relief after a set of stressful events, suually academic, even if, deep inside, you know you're only delaying the consequences.
