I guess you could do that, but I don't know how to go about doing that. I tried editing the .pbm files in the data folder, but I couldn't run the game after.

So I tried @metallicLurker 's mod to remove the HUD, and it works as is, but I have a question: Is there a way to change the resolution? I know that there is 320:240 and 640:480, but I want to make it widescreen for screenshot/art purposes.

Alright, I managed to find a HUDless version of Cave Story here : The only problem is that is is in 4:3 resolution, but I'll try and see if I can make it widescreen.

Hmm, alright. But is there anything like a mod that allows me to remove the hud?

So, I was listening to the soundtrack on Youtube, when I came across this video : This screenshot has no HUD whatsoever, and I was wondering, is there was some way to disable the HUD so that I could take a screenshot like this?
