What if the red flower(s) were regurgitated out of a rabid Mimiga?

If whatever left of the red flower(s) were vomited or whatever out of a rabid Mimiga, would that reverse the effects and bring them back to their original state?

I've seen this thing happen quite a number of times in fiction. If you regurgitated out something that had some effect on you, the effects would be gone or reversed. So could the same apply here?

well if the flower applies permanent affect then probably not which it most likely does since you dont see the mimigas eating the flowers again to maintain their enraged state

but if somehow the flower takes like 200 years to finally digest then i guess so, but i think once it has affected you then u are done for unless u do other fancy magical stuff like make the core go boom boom boom

It really depends on how soon after the Mimiga has eaten the flower, but given the effects are near-immediate (as with Toroko), would they even feel sick, or attempt to reject the stuff out of their system? Red flowers had the magical ability to give them a boost in strength and energy, with the cost of their sanity and appearance. The mimiga that eats the red flowers would've had too much of an adrenaline rush from this newfound power to think about how upset their stomach feels, if at all.

With the good chance that they're digestable such as regular flowers and fish, the red flowers' effect would indeed stay permanent, even if the transformed mimiga in question gains an amount of sense back (much like Igor).

The effects would already be in place so regurgitating the flowers out of they're body wouldn't do much.

It's like eating a pill, it depends on what point you take it out of the system, and you'd be working fast considering what flowers are made of. If you got it out of the system within let's say 15 seconds of it being swallowed, you would be fine, but any more, the effects would become more and more prominent.

This, kinda also dephends on how the red flowers work. getting it out immediately could likely leave a mimiga mostly fine, if not completely unaffected

The trouble in this matter though is actually getting a mimiga to throw out the flowers after eating them.
Even if we consider the time from swallowing to the flowers taking their possible effect to be around 15 seconds, that can still prove to be a very short time to get someone to throw up the flowers. Even when King knew what to do it could've already been too late to help Toroko the moment he gets to her.

And even if it's possible the effects can (mostly) wear off even after that, you'd first have to devise a way to stop a rabid mimiga from rampaging without killing them, and when Toroko shows the ability to throw large stone blocks, it is not an easy task at all.
And that's assuming the rabid mimiga in question has eaten the flower recently, if you take too long there isn't really much to regurgitate, and at that point it's most likely too much in their system. And medicine or other such things most likely are not known about.

However, the best way to stop rabid mimiga mutation is not to try and get it out of the system or cure it, but to prevent mimigas from eating the red flowers to begin with!

Let's see...
Rabid Mimiga - Don't transform back upon being killed
Igor - Transforms back upon being killed. He also was possibly planned to speak after his defeat in the Egg Corridor?
Toroko - Transforms back upon being killed.
Igor 2 - This time he takes a few tips from isis and fucking explodes upon death.
Sue - Transforms back to a completely functional state after the defeat of the undead core (The red crystal is just a more potent red flower, if I recall)

The patterns are EXTREMELY inconsistent, so, let's say for the sake of Pixel's unintentional ""lore"":
The Red flowers have differing effects upon people, either by the amount ingested, the way it was ingested, or maybe there just being some unknown chaos factor to it. Ironically, it's the weakest characters that become the strongest. I'm pretty sure Igor and Toroko didn't do all the hard labor that the other mimiga seem to have done before turning rabid. Keep in mind that Sue survived the red crystal, whereas the Doctor (kinda) did not.

I'm kinda curious now, the Doctor was able to manifest the red flower's powers by extracting their sap and compressing and hardening it to the Red Crystal (even bigger question is how a medical doctor was able to do it all, unless he had to have Momorin or even Booster make it for him prior), but can red flowers alone do anything to humans or humanoids? While the translations are debatable, the Aeon Genesis version had Misery offer to consume one herself as a test for the Doctor, could they have a similar impact on her as the Doctor's essence taking control of her, if at all?

Here's a question: If the mimiga got to the "giant and enraged" state, but then somehow lost the flowers, would they regain sentience, staying abnormally grown?
