Thanks for making me realize I've almost spent 4 years on this place. I love feeling old. Although I can't complain, because DT's still been here longer.

To answer the question, I just take it one day at a time. Upholding the rules gives me some personal satisfaction and the rare case where one of them actually does figure it out and we get a functional member out of them makes me happy.
As for the ones that can't... well, nothing gained nothing lost.

Once I was like "nice, three people have given EA's Auschwitz Simulator 2014 the thumbs up," but then it went back down to 1 next time I looked at it. Then later it was at 7, then 5, and now it's back up to 8. Is someone taking my internets?? Are my internets actually funding a Nazi game by EA somehow??? And most importantly of all, why the fuck do people still have Internetometers in their sigs unironically?

I'm losing so much sleep over arbitrary points, please help.

I'm doing web development (PHP, barf) for a small research group that subsides off the University I attend. Basically I'm setting up some service to validate spreadsheets of information about elementary school kids that relates to learning surveys or something.
but mostly I browse the webs and think about ways I can word my progress reports to seem like I've been productive without actually doing anything.

It can get tiresome at times, but I have a certain feeling of responsibility or duty to these forums. It gives me purpose, in a way. And as long as there's a purpose to something, it isn't really a burden.
And besides, I love the cstsf. I'm like the disapproving dad who just always wanted his son to be the best he could be.

You two? I would be so game for that. I have no idea what to expect but I am sure it would be absolutely magical.
I would have to rate Anthony a -H/10 because he transcends both the real number scale and the imaginary plane and therefore cannot be accurately represented by a discrete value.

The hermit crab is a noble crustacean but they need to gtfo my island because they be keepin' the beetles from spawning and daddy needs his bells for a new house

I don't want to do more ratings because it turns things into some kind of popularity / dickmeasuring contest and while obviously I'm going to like some people more than others I don't want to a) hurt someone's feelings by stating "Yes, X is better than you" and b) everyone has good and bad traits and trying to compare one to another with a single number is meaningless. It's also part of the reason we don't have rep enabled on the forum.

It might get a reboot. As popular(citation needed) as it is around here it still feels very amateurish to me but I still think the concept in general (prequel-ish fangame focusing on King and the red flower war) is solid enough and it's kind of like my first big project ever so it holds some sentimental value to me and I want to see it done some day.

I haven't played it but if I have to I will. Usually the only reason I play mods of my own volition is if they look so amazingly bad that I have to see it with my own eyes.
