Hey guys!

At school, I have VMT (Visual Media Technology) and some of my friends and I are making a short film called the Pickering Experience. It's about a kid at school called David (Played by me) who is bullied all the time at school.

It's weird but I've been sold the appeal of playing a retarded loser.

Anyway, the point of this thread is to share some of the music I've made for it.
I tried using a different music composing program to make these songs cause It's got different sounds to OrgMaker and I can actually convert the music to Mp3 format. Enjoy. The Pickering Experience

Updated version #1: Media Fire
Esnips (Coming soon)
(It's taking forever to upload on Esnips....)

Whoa nice Tracks. Gauze sounds the best to me.
but the Drums and Claps sound like the default ones in FL Studio :/

X) Thanks. The drums probably sound like the default ones in FL studio cause I'm using a different midi composing program which for some reason has different sounds when you change it to mp3 format.

I don't really like Gauze as much as the others cause it sounds kinda like metal which I didn't intend to have cause of the sound thing when you convert it.

Heheh...

Bad link....
XD
But I know what the problem is, for I did it myself with LMAP.
The folder that you've put the files in needs to be turned to Public, as it's set to private by default.
Once you've done that the link will work for everyone.

There.

Alright, I got 'em.
'S really good, I specially like Jungles and the Theme.
But I'll have to agree with you on Gauze XD
Although, the feel to the songs remind me of some old SNES games....

Update!
TheNewPickeringExperience.jpg

I've got 4 new songs.
I made them a while ago actually but I wanted to add more. I had a few ones that weren't really that great so I left them out. Also My Midi sequencer that I used was just a little demo so it expired. Can anyone recommend another good one?

Well here's the link The Pickering Experience

I hope you all enjoy it.

Oh yes, And I'm sorry about the double post. The update would go unnoticed If I just edited my previous post...

A good time for a double post

Sorry for the slow reply.
Anyways, judging the new ones...

Boring Afternoon sounds, well, boring. :o;
Ruins gets really nice near the end..
That constant symbol kinda annoys me in Submarine...
Ambition...Eh, I don't have much to say on this one....

All together, these are pretty cool.
Will you be posting the film, whenever it's done? These songs make me interested in watching it...
And I'd recommend you a sequencer, but I've never used one, so...

Thanks!

It's good that you'd like to see the film soon but I'm afraid it's not gonna happen.
Basically everyone at my school from year 9 and on have to do some kind of activity organised by the school. Film making was probably the only option that looked particularly good.

Other options included Photography, Enviromental group (I have no idea what's up with that one), Table tennis and Bocce. There were also proper interschool sports but I'm just not that great at any of those sports.

But the point is, this would only be for 11 weeks. So we didn't finish the film and there's no way we're gonna finish it in our spare time. I still wanna make more music though.

Aww

Ah, too bad.
But at least there's still the music. :D
And you're making more for this soundtrack after you find another MIDI Sequencer?

yeah I need another Midi Sequencer, If i wanna continue making music.
I've looked for other sequencers but it's difficult to find a really simple one. The one I used before was a bit like pxtone collage.

I've been taking a little bit of a break from it though

The MIDI sequencer I use is Anvil Studio, although as far as I know it doesn't convert to mp3 or wav or anything. Anyway you might wanna look into.

And I finally got around to listening to the music and it's really nice. I noticed Atmosfear was similar to Betrayer from your mod. And you must really like pentatonic scales, rofl xD
