I lost about 48 hours of progress due to a corruption in both my main and backup files, so I'm starting over.
Also, BLOG.


I'm making EVERYTHING but the engine and NPCs this time, so wait time will be far longer.

No, but yes.

I'm currently making the map that goes there, but for V0.0.0.1, it hasn't been started yet, so the door's exit isn't scripted in yet.

 

I see. For future reference, it's a good idea to put an event that says something like, "That's the end of the mod" so people don't think it's a glitch.

EDIT: it's short, but it's not crap. It's bug free (unless you count the end thing as a bug) which is more than can be honestly said for most people's first mods. I would recommend making the spike room either more interesting/varied, or shorter, cause it's kinda repetitive at the moment.

EDIT: Just FYI, even though this is my first mod, it isn't my first edit. I first edited parts of Cave Story In found too hard using SW (It was almost a year ago, when I sucked at video games.), and have read up on TSC and had Dragonboot's guide ready when I started. (Just to let you know, the the TSC notes and the entity stuff wasn't there when I first got CE, so most V0.0.0.1 was made using only the web version of DragonBoot's TSC notes)
