Woah, you can embed orgs now? I've been gone too long

Also, LAMENT sounds awesome! The intro is misleading and that makes the rest of the song sound even better

GGrgh. I 'infiltrate"d Intrisiecx heq and fond a BEYTAH Sogn nevre before seen never before GARG'd!! real

Uh, I mean, I remade Megalovania from the EarthBound Halloween Hack (you know, the one where Andonuts calls Varik a slur.) Also, the prior text is poking fun at a certain someone in the CS Beta community, along with the typing writing style of a person named "poopbucket".

The tune is recognizable, but it just doesn't have that same passion and energy that I feel when listening to Megalovania Proper. Some of the instrument tracks that are supposed to stick out just kind of feel like background noise, and don't blend in very well.

been a while
for whatever reason i felt like making an org yesterday and somehow made this instead of picking flame man like i intended
either way, the drums felt stupid, but the melody felt nice. i remembered that making anything from the NES requires ungodly patience because of the VOLUME and that was... mmm
i forgot all the tiny techniques i used to make my life easier when making orgs and i hope it doesn't show. oops
either way, please enjoy

Discord links appear to have stopped working again (presumably due to some update somewhere), some other direct upload website should hopefully work

Exactly. I use File Garden for my uploading of shit (mostly because I'm a frequent MSPFA user) and have recommended it to so many people that want a quick and easy direct upload file storage site.

Did a cover of Gooseworx' own 'The Amazing Digital Circus'!
So excited for this show to come out, ngl.

Also the first really new track I've done from scratch in a while. Honestly really happy I still kinda got the muscle memory.

Hey this is really neat! Nice balance between faithful realism and adapting to the orgmaker sound, must've been technically demanding.

Hey everyone, here are some org covers that have been stored in my computer files for almost 10 years. They range from vgm covers to MJ to memes. I'm not really a modder, but I just find org maker to be a fun little tool for music. If you decide to use anything in your mods, please just list me in the credits. Some tracks are more ambitious than others. Thanks!

I updated that old Green Hill Zone remake I did, adding instruments from the Genesis version, and overall making it sound less empty than before.

Well folks. You know what time it is. More S1 ORG remakes.

To begin, here's boss music. I'd say this one turned out pretty good, sounds like something you'd hear in a TurboGrafx port or something.

Also, I also made the 1-UP and act clear jingles. They aren't as good.

And finally, I went and updated a few older ORGs. I don't remember which ones, but they sound more pleasant now. Anyways, have a good day, and just remember, the Eggman Empire is always hiring!

Ah, my favorite thread. The ORG Showcase thread! I've got three hot new S1 remakes for your ears to listen to.

First up, it's boss time, except it's 8-bit this time. Tried way too hard to get this one sounding good.

Next up, the title screen jingle, built off the invincibility track. Start the adventure, defeat that dastardly Eggman.

And finally, the same thing but longer, it's the ALL CLEAR/Ending track. Saved the day for the first time, Sonic did. It's a sort of extended version as well, based on the Theme of Sonic the Hedgehog Demo Masato Nakamura made.

Also, minor update to GRNHILZNnew's org.

Hello again. Here to share another ORG I made.
TL;DR Here it is if you want to listen to it right away. But I recommend that you read on to find out how I brought myself to remaking into an ORG.

I seem to have been liking to listening to that song. I heard this in a rom hack of SMW which appeared to be a custom song. It's called "Dead End" ported by Sinc-X.

Recently, in early July 2024, when I looked at the comments section, a user pointed out that "Dead End" is not a custom SMW song, rather a port from a Japanese PC-98 computer game called Rusty from 1993 (that I really never knew about). So, I first looked it up on YouTube and... There it is. These show the official cover art of that game. Listening to that song and looking at the cover art few more days got me to learn more about that game and wanting to play it. Watched some gameplay and partially a review without going into any spoilers as I planned on getting the Neko Project II emulator (np21 from np2fmgen pack) and downloading the game. It's near-impossible to obtain the game physically. It's a Castlevania clone, even though I never really played any Castlevania...

46Okumen ( consisting of hollowaytape, kuoushi & @SkyeWelse ) made an English translation of that game in 2017. Gotta thank them for that, really like to play it in English.

Then on July 15, 2024, I started playing Rusty and enjoyed it, through trial and error (getting game overs and continuing, first time experience) until fully finished it on July 17, 2024. That, the story and cutscenes, the voices, and even the "anime eyecatches" were very amazing.

I decided to play the game again on August 2, 2024 to go for the highest score without losing all lives. After having learned secret areas and getting extra things, played it through to the end. My score is 2092300. (The second castle level provides extra 1up farming from a certain checkpoint, so it is possible to max out the score through repeated deaths.)

Now I wanted to remake "Dead End" into an ORG using OrgMaker 3 and did it through listening the SPC dump of the custom SMW music at a lower tempo, and constructed it note by note and drum beat by drum beat. Minus the custom intro of the song, the original PC-98 piece did not have that. Also, due to track limitations in OrgMaker, I couldn't incorporate another instrument heard from PC-98 and used exactly from the SPC dump. Remember, I did it all by hearing and hand-input into OrgMaker.

And here it is. Updated 10/22/2024. (Per01 adjusted and echoed as it was modified on OrgMaker 3.0.9 by Strultz. Also corrected certain note volumes. When using it into a mod, certain drum tracks may need to be adjusted, mainly on Per01 track and adjusting the pitch.)
And here's the one with that custom intro, if interested.

:orangebell: HALLOWEEN UPDATE! I was motivated to recreate "Red Sunset" into an ORG with aid of the 98fmplayer and did it note by note. From Rusty.
Here it is! Updated 11/1/2024: Added missing HiClose track.

"Dead End" & "Red Sunset" originally composed by Masahiro Kajihara. Rusty game created by Naoto Niida/C-Lab.
