Quote homemade hat!

So, for Halloween, I made a quote hat out of spare parts in 2 days from my home etc. class because I finished making a pillow a month early! So, here's the pictures:

It's actually very nice, but the front of the bill looks a bit blocky.
make sure to put ikachan or "curly brace" on the hat c;

I made the hat from scraps, so I didn't have much to work with. This is also my first try making a hat, so of course it looks bad. Not meant to be in a bad tone.Also, my mod might be locked, pls someone post! I'm sorry, but I can't find a way without putting it in my status.
Also, I will be having a super missile, so I think that's a difference.

 

I was gonna dress up as Quote whilst handing out candy on my porch.
I decided against it, because whenever I show Cave Story to anyone, they automatically assume it's Mario.

Why do people insist the hat says "Curly Brace" on it? I believe in the official art it was never shown what it says on the hat.

If you were wearing a hat like that, they would probably just assume you're a robot Ash rather than Mario.

But Sue DOES say that Quote's hat has words on it. And Pixel's beta drawings is the best answer to what it says.

 

Except in those beta drawings Quote's name was Curly Brace. So it would make sense for it to say Quote instead.

 

While everyone else is arguing about what the hat is suppose to have engraved on it I'm gonna talk about what a great job you did with it!
Seriously it looks really good! Can't wait to see the full costume if you are gonna make a full version of it.

 

What could go wrong if Quote's hat says "Curly Brace?" It could've actually been Curly's hat for all we know.

Already made the full costume, and wrote curly brace in Japanese so people won't laugh at the girls name on it. I won't revel the costum until after all hollows eve, because that's when I'll have my camera back.

It took about 90 minutes, cause that's two class periods combined.
