This song is included in practically every version of Cave Story, except for the original version.
If Rave Story is anything to go by, the song is "Last Battle Beta Intro" - it certainly seems like an intro.

"NewData" seems to be the default name OrgMaker uses.. does anyone have more information?

It was scrapped due to pixel not liking how the song sounds I guess. He must've liked the version we have currently. I sorta extended it by adding about 4 more verses. It's going to be included in a mod I'm helping with. If anyone wants to hear that song, I will probably upload it on youtube.

As far as I know, its the Last Battle beta/scrapped ORG.

NewData.org is the default filename shown in the file saving window when saving a new org. Essentially Pixel never even bothered to name the file. But according to Pixel and one guy who has a better musical ear that me it was a beta of Last Battle.
