List of banned members thread

I've noticed it's stopped being updated. I really think it should continue to be updated (with list of banned members, ban durations, and reasons) partly to keep the mods/admins honest, and partly so the rest of us aren't all like "lolwut" every time someone is banned.

 

I haven't had to use it yet so it doesn't matter for me either way :>

Who are the only two recent bans anyway? Fire and Meta?

Fire got banned for what, pointing out SP's flaws and challenging him?

Meta got banned for saying, "Stupid Germans"?

Both of which make me lol a little.

 

I never really liked Fire. He flamed me my first day of existence.

I'm having doubts about Meta, but she was nice to me so whatever.

Stupid alternate accounts. I know of one guy who had 20 on one site, just so he could rate his material high and snipe others'. Who knows how many Metas there are?

 

Fire wasn't exactly liked around here. I never had any problems with him, we actually had it going pretty well. But yeah he got banned for pissing of SP. I hoped people had learned not to piss off the authorities, but anecdotal evidence proves otherwise. I'm not sure what exactly happened to Meta. Wasn't she an admin or something? I would be glad if someone explained this to me over visitor messages or PM. I wish I wasn't on vacation near the sea, so that I could see the drama happening here in action D:

Yeah, but it's obvious this thread was started because of the recent bans, not just curiosity.

 

Indeed. Though I would appreciate it if SP, or whoever banned Meta/Fire, would update this thread with their names, ban durations, and ban reasons AND CONTINUE to do this for any other member banned IN THE FUTURE. It's annoying every time someone is banned to have to go hunting for the cause of it, especially if you happen to be the banned individual in question.

normally, i'm not a grammar nazi. here, there's an exception
no "an" before a plural word, an is singular.
every singular word that starts with a vowel is preceded by an (or the, etc.) as in "an apple"
