I just found it incredibly frustrating. In most of the screens the enemies are placed so poorly it's a hassle to even land without getting hit.

Also on the bosses attacks keep spawning right on top of me or right in front of me.

It would be nice if it had two or three hit points instead of one.

The game does only have one ending. It's about greek mythology or something, watch DC's let's play where he explains it all at the very end and suddenly it seems like a much better game.

And I dunno how you found it frusterating when the furthest you got sent back was like, 2 screens. Then again, I'm very tolerant of "Do this until you're perfect at it" gameplay.

It's based on the story of Orpheus and Eurydice.

Uhm, wat?
It's called "Don't look back."
Now what?
change the game mechanic?

who agreed to allow Eurydice to return with him to earth on one condition: he should walk in front of her and not look back until they both had reached the upper world. He set off with Eurydice following and in his anxiety as soon as he reached the upper world he turned to look at her, forgetting that both needed to be in the upper world, and she vanished for the second time, but now forever.

It wasn't too bad since you respawned at the same screen, but I was just getting sick of repeated trial and error to find a way to enter the screen and shoot the enemies without dying right away. Just doesn't feel like a great game mechanic to me.
