CS3D Glitch

I'm back. Blah.

I found my CS3D copy the other day and was playing through the asploded egg corridor in classic mode. When I got to the new Detour area (frustrating as hell tbh), I saw Critters spazzing out and hovering around where the beetles should be. Funny as hell.

Oh yeah, I remember that happening to me when I was on Classic Mode as well! minerguy is probably right about them using the wrong sprite... ha.

You gotta love the people at Nicalis

They have money from 5 different CS releases, I'm sure they're content with pushing out this stuff by this point.

They should really try making something other than another Cave Story release.

Hopefully, Cave Story+ on the 3DS will be the last re-release, otherwise, I give up.

It'd say it's very, very likely.

Which means that clearly the folks over at Nicalis will be forced to gently prod Pixel toward the consideration of a Cave Story 2. Please.

I get the strongest feeling that Pixel doesn't plan to touch Cave Story again. Plus he's working on Rock Fish. I'm guessing that he may make a similar title, but not a Cave Story.

Just saw that glitch. It made me laugh and die a bit inside...

You'd think that a game that was originally 99% glitch-free wouldn't have so many glitches in it! The only re-release that is glitch free (from what I know) is the DSi version.

Actually, I think this is the only glitch in the game, so you have nothing to worry about.

Anyhow it's only three glitches that have come to light. Two are minor (flying critter, which is classic mode only, and core being shown during the breakdown scene) and one is kinda cool (flag preservation between saves if you pause and exit while displaying the inventory). None of these affect normal gameplay.

I wouldn't say that this glitch does not affect normal gameplay, since exiting the game in your inventory should be something you can do without causing bugs, and something that could easily mess up a save if done accidentally.
