Was thinking about planning a night where we all sit down and play through Cave Story again. probably have us on the IRC so we can chat.

O: This doesn't seem to be a bad idea, though my computer lags sometimes. I also probably won't be able to get through the entire thing by the time I wish to sleep. (Unless it's maybe today) One more thing, I can't get the good ending, because the Sacred Grounds shake too much and crash this computer.

 

We could turn it into a mini contest too, and make it like a race to beat the game.

is there a way to plant the nikamuru (Or whateva) Counter into the game but at the very start so it times the whole game?

With modding you could, but I don't think it counts more than 9'59. Who knows, maybe I'm wrong.

I'm sorry to sound like a dick, but I'm gonna let my asshole side out for a moment here.

You don't just plan an event and then decide to run it on the same day. You set it up at least several days in advance, so people have a chance to see it and plan around it. What if someone would have really wanted to participate, but didn't see the thread in the 3 HOUR WINDOW you've given? What if someone was busy tonight, but could have easily made room if given the opportunity?
I hope I see another one of these in the near future, maybe one that's actually planned well.

I'm having a shitty day today and this is my way of venting I suppose.

Great im too late its already 11:33 because while i was on irc i had to go for a long while but i doubt this but maybe i may plan this. I doubt it but i might if. A.If anyone wants me to do it and B. It would have to be before school starts again.

 

It's alright, there were only two and a half people who were playing it anyway.

That sounds like a much better idea, considering the fact that I have Skype online when I'm playing usually and it doesn't lag.
