Cave Story IRL

There's already a topic with this title, but discussing a different topic. I feel we need a pointless topic about things from Cave Story found in the Real World. Cosplaying, flying islands, -127HP spikes... Go out in the real world and find it, and provide photo evidence!


(In other words, start up Photoshop.)

I cosplayed as Quote for Anime Boston last year, but good luck getting a picture out of me.

everyone seems to like cosplaying as quote.. I guess he's pretty easy to cosplay as, if you pretend his skin tone is your skin tone and don't fancy it up by painting yourself pale white (or super light blue like his face image). I wonder how many people mistake you for Ness or something though, lol.

I'd definitely be able to cosplay as the Doctor easiest if I did anyone from Cave Story... and if I ever do that, I'd glady post pics. Pester me and remember this thread if it ever happens, which I'd say is faaaaairly likely, though I dunno when..

 

I am that pasty. Too bad Quote doesn't have acne
And Ness? It would be very difficult to get Ness and Quote mixed up. They wear similar clothes, but with completely different colors... also my costume included a sword. And a hat that said "CURLY BRACE," which confused people when I told them I was Quote.
There's a picture out there of a dude dressed up as the Doctor. I am too lazy to find it. GO, MY GOOGLE MINIONS! UNEARTH IT!

I just remember it 'cause it strikes me as more silly than anything, which I completely expect the oppisite of in a Doctor cosplay.

That is not the picture I had in mind, but I guess it works. It also made me laugh.

No it wouldn't. You'd barely be able to move your legs, stuck in a rectangular costume.

 

Hey, you just gave me an idea! Cosplaying as a Press...

Since I've been a Nintendo fan all my life, I've had a lot of practice jumping. All I need now is a bunch of cardboard boxes.
