Cave Story celebratory thingy

Okay, so Cave Story came out on December 20th.
And there's been a semi-functional multiplayer in the works.
And the best way to celebrate a game is to play it and be with others that like that game.
Do you see where I'm going with this?
I don't know how the project's been going, but maybe on the 20th there could be a massive multiplayer thingy on the forums.
Just an idea. It'd probably never work, what with lag because we're spread out across the Earth, but maybe we could pull it off.
By no means could I contribute, though, with the only computer skills I have being "sudo-apt get install".

 

Doesn't sound all that good, I'd rather just see a Christmas mod.

Well the 11 year anniversary isnt really anything too special in comparison to a milestone-type number like 1, 10, 15, 50, 100, etc.

So in 2104 we can all play, where about half (at most) of us will be alive and none of us will be physically able to play games with arthritis and such. Great plan, right?

Christmas is a Holiday. Cave Story's age is a milestone. We tend not to take holidays too seriously because they happen every year. If Christmas only happened once every 10 years it wold be a much bigger deal

Damnit now you make me feel guilty for not getting on this. Maybe I'll just abbreviate it... a lot.

Of course if I rush the mod out for Christmas, I might as well call it Sonic Story: Boom because it will be utter garbage.
